Martin Luther King Jr.

     Martin Luther King won the Nobel Peace Prize because he changed the world drastically.  Martin Luther King was a great African American who worked for civil rights.  He fought for the rights of African Americans and many people, blacks as well as whites, supported him.  He saw how badly black people were treated.  How a black woman, Rosa Parks, was arrested because she didn’t want to give up her seat to a white person on a bus.  That's why the world needed to be changed.  He saw how badly black people were treated.  Blacks were not treated fairly and white people acted as if they were superior to them.  

     The world would be really different if Martin Luther King didn't dream big and aspire to change the world.  If it wasn't for him, blacks and whites would go to separate schools, parks, and even drink at separate water fountains.  He could bring people's dreams to reality.  His example, his works, as well as his accomplishments changed the world Americans live in.  It also helped them build better relationships between races.  His life tells us about the significance and the value of freedom in our world.  If there is no freedom, justice, and equal rights in the world, we would need to change it.  However, it does take sacrifice to make a big change and that's what he did.
